Coolant Tank Cracking
The cooling tank on the liquid cooled Laverdas has a weak seam that will frequently crack or burst under the pressure of engine heat. The tanks are available, but are still pretty weak. If you have a cracked tank consider mending it with epoxy. Some folks have discussed doing this (and reinforcing with wire a thing wire) on new tanks prior to use.
